The Lobster Bash Wrestling Showdown is going to a take place on Saturday, June 30th at 5pm in the Courier Parking Lot, Downtown Digby. LPW (Live Professional Wrestling) is presenting six huge matches for your entertainment . . . and all this is absolutely free!

Douglas B. Shand from Shag Harbour, NS is going to be at the 2018 Lobster Bash Show & Shine with his beautifully restored pedal cars. Be sure to stop by and have a look at these beauties. I'm sure Rick & Kelly Dale from Rick's Restorations in Las Vegas will take an interest in them while they are here in Digby.

Mechanics are a huge part of the lobster industry, keeping both boats and trucks in working order.  That is why we chose the theme of "Mechanic" this year for our costume contest.

Celebs!

We have some special guests returning to the Lobster Bash this year...Rick and Kelly Dale from Rick's Restoration in Las Vegas, and Rick Crane from Cold Water Cowboys in Newfoundland.  Rick and Kelly are coming back because their first trip here was during a hurricane, and Rick Crane is coming back because he loves Digby, and the people here.  Its going to be a great Lobster Bash for sure!

For those of you that missed seeing Rick and Kelly Dale, from Rick's Restorations in Las Vegas, back in 2014 during the hurricane...they are coming back for another visit with the Lobster Bash this year!

The municipal Christmas tree in Barrington is fashioned from 188 salvaged lobster traps.

What started as fun project on Cape Sable Island has become a way to honour local fishermen.
